Batiste dry shampoo

Wanted to share this really exciting thing (at least for me) that I stumbled upon!


Ever since I read articles and heard from people that shampooing your hair is actually bad (yeah I know?!?! I'm really slow...) due to removing all your essential hair oil and your scalp will produce more oil to make up for it and cause oily scalp and hair loss.. I got freaked out because I do have oily scalp since quite sometime ago.

Furthermore working outdoors, the hot weather and the constant perspiration isn't helping me to not shampoo my hair everyday, that's when I stumbled upon this thing called DRY SHAMPOO.

Was excited because I do subscribe to the monthly bellabox and for this april's edition, they gave me a sample of the Batiste dry shampoo in tropical. I purposely chose to not shampoo my hair last night and I gave it a try this morning and I WAS REALLY AMAZED!! My hair doesn't look greasy anymore hahah.

Did google for information on where to get it but ebay is selling it at a really pricey price plus the shipping fees are just CRAZY EXPENSIVE! Bellabox does carry it in their eshop but the variety they're carrying isn't to my liking. So I took my chances and went to Watsons to check it out.

And ALAS! Was I not disappointed hahaha. There were like 3 different kinds. Was contemplating between the cherry or the floral one and I really squatted there for a good 5-10 min deciding which to get (yeah cos it was shelved at the bottom) and I decided to get Batiste dry shampoo in Cherry for the young me HAHAHA.

It cost me $12.90, same as what they're selling on bellabox eshop. Was really satisfied with my purchase!!

Now I can salvage my head and not make myself anymore botak lolol.

Beach gathering with the WOW peeps

Went to the beach with the WOW peeps today!!

But before that we went for a game of tunnel battle and 2 games of the indoor maze hahah. Not forgetting my team thrashed the opponents and my sister and my timing got the highest score for completing the tunnel battle (of cos we didn't write our names up the scoreboard cos after all I played so many times already.... :p)

And the air conditionings were down so.... It was insanely hot and stuffy inside :(

And off to wave house!! It's actually my first time there even though I always went past that area haha.

And we headed to the beach for some games. Jericho brought teddy to the beach!! She's an absolute adorable and obedient dog. Love love love playing with her :)

And off to dinner at Nyonya & Baba Peranakan Cuisine. Absolutely loved the food there. Spicy but tolerable, loved the crayfish hahaha yummmmm.

Think there were 11 of us and we ordered 13 dishes?!?! siao one

Went for another round of beer at The Queen & Mangosteen and home we go!

Typing this using the mobile app hence, it explains the untidiness. And it's gonna be 1am soon hence, it explains the rush cos Im tryna type as fast as I can. 

Haahah. Great workout today with a fulfilling dinner. Time to get serious in my TBIO exam revision plus work on my dissertation hmmm.

This won't end quietly,

Here I am.. Sipping on my freshly blended orange juice using my Shake And Take blender whilst blogging and tryna get started on my exams' essays, hmmm...

I swear the Shake And Take blender is probably the best product I ever purchased online! I can seriously just throw any fruits, blend it and take it away with me to work or school.

My orange juice, MAD FULL WITH FIBRE AND VITAMINS!!

The only downside about this is the washing part ah.... Cos its opening isn't big and its tall so using a plain sponge won't do the job. Sometimes I will just soak it in soap water, shake it and then rinse it with water hahaha. And if I'm not lazy I'll diligently scrub it inside out. I know like there'll be lots of fibres and all stuck inside and it'll cause browning of the bottle. And I know the more the fruit is being chopped/sliced or whatnot will cause lesser vitamins but y'know this product is super convenient!! Okay I digressed.

It suddenly dawned upon me that I'll probably be ending school in late August or early September.. With jobs being hard to get and all I'm beginning to doubt if I'm able to get a job after graduating?! Or like companies won't recognise private university degrees and I'll be starting with a diploma pay and things like that. Okay I hope not really if not it'll be a waste of my expensive course fees + wasting 2 years of my life.

My Year 3 semester 2 is coming to an end soon.. Like in a month's time and then it'll be my last ever semester in school that'll last 3 months then so long school~

I swear this semester has been the slackest I've ever been. Hopefully I can get back on my feet and pull my socks skyhigh.
