6 facts about me

#1: I don't like to share my food and beverages
I know caring is sharing and sharing is caring but NOOOOOO!!!!!

Joey and I are very much alike in terms of sharing food

I'll tend to get really pekchek when someone keeps looking at what I'm eating or asks me whether my food is nice or not. I know you confirm want to try hahahaha. I'll only share if, one; I'll give away my yellow/orange sweets cos them citrus flavoured sweets are gross, two; if I'm really full and don't wanna eat anymore or I don't like the food I have then I'll ask if anybody else wants them. hahaha I sound like such a food bitch kkkkkk. I don't know how people always seem to willingly agree to give away their food... Okay I don't know la probably they are really selfless. Maybe I'll learn to share food someday, maybe someday..

#2: I absolutely love anything to do with cuticle care (manicure, pedicure)
Occasionally I'll browse the web or watch videos on how to do pretty nail art and all. I'm still learning, the prettiest one I ever did was to draw 10 cupcakes on all of my fingers VERY meticulously.

Here are some of the nail designs that I did...

Just kidding. The red and white nail designs were nail stickers, the rainbow ponies and the white and blue nail designs were gelish manicures that I had it done at The Nail Artelier hahahaha.

Was very very proud of the cupcakes design, and I'm glad it lasted for quite a long time! I've had many compliments but nowadays I'm getting really lazy and just colour them in 1 basic colour. I prolly own 70-80 over bottles of nail polishes, nail foils, stickers and misc.. And I still think it isn't enough :( Was thinking of getting a gelish manicure set tho....

#3: I'm a homebody!!
I love staying home, I'm not that kinda person that always yearns to go hangout until the wee hours and not wanting to go home. I find I have so much things to occupy myself, and never had I felt bored at home. I could probably lock myself up for a few weeks at home and I won't even complain about it hahahha. When I'm out I will want to go home, when I'm home I'll never wanna go out. Weirdough.

#4: I have absolutely no idea how to use make-up
That's why some of my guy friends say I'm like a guy. I only am confident about drawing eyeliner, and sometimes the mascara. Other than that I don't know how to use make-ups at all. Things like toner, primer, foundation, I don't know what it enhances on the face nor do I know which to put on first. A friend tried teaching me how to use them and I tried it once, but I don't see any change and I think I look the same ahahaha. So might as well don't put makeup right?!

And when they offer to give me lessons on makeups....

Thank you for offering to help tho :D

#6: I have a fear of pigeons
OH MY GOSH THE HORROR... The way they're so bloody greedy, the way they flap their birds, their sense of direction sucks and they always seem to fly super close to humans... Do I need to explain further?!

I hate how I always gotta pass by the pigeons outside the mamashop when walking to jurong east mrt station. They're bloody fearless, see humans not scared just continue pecking and looking for food... Then some person will walk near them and thats when they'll be flapping their wings and I always think they're gonna hit my face ahahah.

STAHPPPPPPPP
DON'T COME NEAR ME!!!

#6: I LOVE POTATOES!!!
Everything potato, mashed potatoes, croquette, hash browns, potato skins, cheese fries, french fries, potato chips, potato pancakes, potato wedges..

And my 2 ultimate favourites.. POTATO SALAD AND BAKED POTATOES

BRB DYING

I will update this list or do another post another time when I'm more "free-er". Time to get back on my school work now or else I'm not gonna get a good honours for my degree hahaha.

Enjoy the weekends y'all!

It is what it is... Is it?

What do you do when someone constantly asks you for favors and you help them without hesitation, when you see them in need and you lend them a helping hand with no questions asked, or even be their guardian angel and watch their backs all the time..

Yet all they did was to take things for granted? And when you require assistance or help for yourself from them and they refuse? Do you continue helping them or give up hope?

I don't know what to do anymore. It's been years. I am beginning to feel really drained. What to do.. Can anybody help me?

My beer brewing final year project

Yeah so school have started for like a month now, and I'm currently on my year 3 (final year!!) sem 2. I'm like 5/6 into my university journey now and time really flew by (awesomeeeeeee :D)

Was lucky enough to get my first choice of dissertation topic, "brewing flavoured beer". How awesome is that? Gotta do a dissertation on my choice of flavour of beer, get to drink and experiment with various flavourings. And as the fermentation process is quite a long wait hence, we need not go visit the lab everyday like other groups, such as cancer cell lines, kombucha etc. Our beer brewing group isn't exactly slack, it's just that fermentation takes up alot of time!!

Week 1 was all about filling up the COSSHH, ethics forms etc. Quite a bore la but it was required before the kickstart of our project. Week 2 was where we started brewing our first batch of lager!! Exciting stuff :)

Yupppp and there's our lager!

Us with Dr Katie

Both Audrey & I are under the same supervisor :D

And lastly, us with Dr Sunesh

Week 3 was all about the testing of our flavourings with commericial beer because our beer's primary fermentation was still ongoing until next week. Only some will know how much trouble and tough decisions I gotta make whilst deciding on my flavour for the beer. Spent quite a sum of $$ into making my own flavourings but I guess it didn't quite work out la so....

Experiments are expensive!!!!

Our red faces after the beer tasting session (HAHAHA)

Favourite girls :)

Yep. That's during our tasting session!

Overall this semester is very manageable and I don't feel the stress like how I did in year 3 sem 1 (where I had like over 25 assignments, reports and exams). This semester there'll only be an exam, a poster, an essay and my dissertation (which will  continue through year 3 sem 3!!). Exciting exciting stuff.

I'll be back to update my beer brewing journey!!
