Bad luck joyce // New school year

Hello,

So what's new...
Well I sprained my foot last week hahaha. Such a klutz. And how did I fell? I was walking down the escalator to catch the train at buona vista station to head to work and I don't know what happened, suddenly I FELL!!!!  

WHUTTTTTT.... 

I let out a little scream and it echoed throughout the station. During my fall, I heard a "CRACK" on the outermost side of my foot and my first thought was, "OH CRAPPPPP..."

Feeling so embarrassed, I quickly walked to the last cabin to avoid stares from the people who saw me fell. Grabbed a seat and I refused to look at my foot.. It felt numb and all. After recovering from my embarrassment & shock, I took a glance at my foot, swelling has occured. There was a protruding-like bone appearing at the side of my foot.

The 5 cardinal signs of inflammation;
Pain, heat, swelling, redness, loss of function

Yep.. Definitely an inflammation.

Stood up from my seat to alight the train and realized I couldn't even stand nor walk properly. The pain was bloody excruciating, oh my goodness... And yep, that was how I sprained my foot :(

Til now, my right foot went through 3 accidents already:
1)    The treadmill fell on the top of my foot when I was keeping it
2)    Sprained my ankle during work
3)    Fell on the escalator and injured my foot

The term break just zoomed past really quickly, a month plus of holidays.. Gone like that. Received my year 2 term 2 results, and it was kinda disappointing for me, hahaha. My highest module scored just a 60+!! What the heck.

Actually I didn't really have high expectations for my Y2T2 results to be better than my Y2T1 results but oh well. Although I know I've cleared my Y2T3 papers, I've got a gut feeling I'll just be getting average marks like my Y2T1 results. But hey, I really did put in effort for all my reports, essays and my final paper.

Heading out to school laterz, hoping it'll be a great start to the year 3!! Time to buck up and hopefully, just hopefully, I can pull my grades up (and socks) to get second upp class (or even better, a first class!!!). Counting down the days till my graduation!!

This can all be so simple.

When people ask me what I want, be it any aspect of my life, I'd gladly answer them with that.

I know people change, and their spots will always stay the same. Never thought you've taken it to a whole new level, by saying mean things to the people whom are were so dear to you.. Once upon a time, I feel. I promise myself to never let it affect me anymore, and once again you've reassured me that what I'm doing is a-okay, and that it is necessary. I don't know why you're always doing the "making up for teenage crime", what have you got to make up for? Nobody have shortchanged you in any aspect, at all.

Yeah.. I know it's all part of growing up. I hate this new generation. I hate how everything is always online, how their phones will always be rubbing in their faces, hiding their true selfs behind their "tech toys".

Bridesmaid gown fitting

Went for the bridesmaid gown fitting yesterday!!

Our dear Elyn is gonna get married next month, and I'm really excited for her!! And of course this will be my first time I'm actually helping as a "Jie Mei".

 

We all agreed on wearing a dress which will be white so it will kinda be standardized, and this has got to be the most girliest dress I've ever worn!! Look at the ribbon detail on the dress I'm wearing hahaha. I'm actually using my left hand to hold the dress because it's too big for me and it'll fall if I don't hold onto it! Of course it's in the midst of alteration hehehe.

Really excited for her big day coming up really soon!! Can't wait :)

You don't deserve it.

Yeah, sure. Everybody know what karma is. I'm just not sure why isn't it happening on those who deserves it? Is there a "on" button switch, how do I get it to work?

I don't mean to be rude or anything but I hope you won't be happy. Simply because you don't deserve it. 

As time goes by, I learn to shut it all out. By letting it affect me will mean I've already lost half the battle.

What I've been up to.

Hi guys. I know I'm like a month late to mention this but....
My horrid year 2 term 3 is finally over!!! 
Actually I feel my year 2 term 2 was the most horrible term.. So far.

Anyway I'm kinda pissed off with the school cause my school coordinator had promised to just type my bloody email into the class mailing list after I complained to her once, due to not receiving any updates. Subsequently she apologized, and said she had put it in already. And then... Well well I did not receive any single thing and again I had to go complain the second time. Again she apologized and said she typed my email in already. Ok that aside...

I didn't receive my marks yet, after so freaking long. But all I know is that I've cleared my term 2 modules (the one I feel I did horrible for one of the paper). I should rejoice, yay? 

I used to only have like a week or two after each term's exams. And now I'm prepping for my final year of my degree course, I get like 2 months of holidays lolol. How can I NOT be happy about that!! And basically I've been enjoying every single bit of my term break and trying not to waste any "essence" of it. Some things I've been doing for a month now are...


1) WORK

Of course, where else would I get my income hahha. So for most of my days, it's either combat, bloop, amazing race, combat combat combat etc etc.

Combat deal I conducted at Mad Rush, Fort Siloso, Sentosa

I think I look cute holding my slurpee with a thumbs up sign together with the merlion at imbiah station hehehe. And it was my first time being up on the merlion's head as well!!


2) SHOWS
Also, I've been watching lots of shows during my off days or whenever I'm free.

YESSSSSSS, THIS IS THE OLD CHANNEL 8 DRAMA SERIES THAT CAME OUT IN THE 1997.

I remember watching it before when I was much younger.. Don't know why I've started watching it again. Prolly because I saw channel 8 doing its re-run on the weekends. Anyway loving this awesome 32 episodes drama, I have already finished it in like 2-3 days. Thank you to that user who uploaded it on YouTube!!! 

Watching ANTM 20 boys and girls, and also catching up on Family Guy Season 11!! I kinda stopped watching this because my online source of family guy went missing :( Now that I've found a new source... heheheheh.


3) GOING OUTSIDE

If ya'll know me, I'd rarely want to even go out. I go out to my neighbourhood park to jog, go out to work and go out for school. (YES LOSER, WEIRDO, WHATEVER)

But I've been out to shop with my mom, my unimate, and to celebrate my dad's birthday~
